Grape Varieties & Terroirs
This cuvée is a blend of Syrah and Grenache Noir. The plots are situated on the limestone Cazelles plateau. This superb quality terroir is characterized by a high content of organic matter and stones. Our farming practices work in harmony with and respect the local flora and fauna.
Harvest & Vinification
We harvest completely by hand in order to respect the integrity of these fine grapes from the vineyard to the cellar. We practice plot selection to ensure the highest quality grapes are used in this wine. The grapes are hand sorted and de-stemmed. After a maceration lasting 3 to 4 weeks, the wine is run off and transferred into oak barrels.
Aged for 14 to 16 months in French oak barrels, 50% new.
The robe is a deep purple, the bouquet, a mixture of black fruits, spices, leather, vanilla and toast. The ample palate, with notes of black fruits and spices, has an excellent persistence.
Yield : 35 hl/ha.
